Alexandra Daddario’s net worth and career

Daddario has built an estimated net worth of $8 million through her successful acting career. After early minor roles, her breakout part came playing Annabeth Chase in the 2010 fantasy film Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief and its 2013 sequel.

The popularity of these films significantly raised her profile. She has since starred in numerous additional hit movies like Hall Pass, San Andreas, and Baywatch, further increasing her fame and earnings.

In terms of her beginnings, she got her start with minor roles on shows like All My Children and The Sopranos as a teenager. Since then, She has shown versatility by appearing in various genres, from comedies to horrors to blockbuster action flicks.

On television, Daddario has also appeared on many popular shows, such as multi-episode arcs on White Collar, American Horror Story, and The White Lotus – the latter earning her an Emmy nomination.

So, between steady film roles and TV work, Daddario has maintained consistent acting jobs for over a decade. Her continually rising profile and varied roles have allowed the actress to amass a multi-million dollar net worth by age 37.

Alexandra Daddario’s net worth comparison with her producer husband

Daddario has built an impressive net worth of $8 million through her acting career in films and television. However, her husband, Andrew Form, has amassed an even more considerable fortune of $30 million through his prolific film and TV production work.

Form got his start working under famed producer Jerry Bruckheimer before co-founding the production company Platinum Dunes.

Through Platinum Dunes, Form has produced numerous successful horror film remakes and franchises, including The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Amityville Horror, Friday the 13th, A Nightmare on Elm Street, The Purge, and A Quiet Place.

He also served as an executive producer on shows like Black Sails. This steady production work has allowed Form to build a net worth nearly four times larger than his wife’s.

So, while Daddario has found financial success in her own right as an actress starring in projects like Percy Jackson and The White Lotus, her husband has accumulated significantly more wealth behind the scenes as a go-to horror producer in Hollywood.

His career shows the immense profits that successful producers and production companies can make. Still, with a combined net worth of $38 million, the celebrity couple has plenty of wealth to share, even with Form’s disproportionate share.

Alexandra Daddario is not returning to the Percy Jackson franchise

Daddario played the role of Annabeth Chase in the 2010 film Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief and its 2013 sequel. However, she will not be reprising the role for the upcoming Disney+ television adaptation of the Percy Jackson book series.

In a recent interview, she explained that she is not involved with the new streaming series and has no details about it other than being excited for the new generation of actors who will get to play these iconic characters.

She spoke fondly of her time working on the original films, saying director Chris Columbus and the producers were hugely supportive and that the experience kickstarted her career.

However, Daddario expressed she is happy to “pass the torch” to a new actor to play Annabeth rather than return to the role herself.

This makes it definitively clear that while she is grateful for her past Percy Jackson role, she will not be returning for the Disney+ version and is ceding the part to a new performer.

The decision to recast appears aligned with author Rick Riordan’s vision for the show, as he led a year-long casting process to find the new ideal actors for each character.

This includes newcomer Leah Jeffries as Annabeth, despite some racist backlash from fans that she does not match Annabeth’s physical description from the books. However, Riordan firmly stands behind the cast as embodying the personalities of the characters.

So, while Daddario brought Annabeth to screen wonderfully over a decade ago, she is content with her Percy Jackson acting tenure. The hunt for a brand new cast signals a fresh vision from the series’ creators.

And Daddario gives the Disney+ show her blessing rather than feeling any need to return as a cast member or cameo herself in the beloved franchise.

Alexandra Daddario’s part in ‘Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths, Part One’

In 2024, Daddario will voice the role of Lois Lane in the direct-to-video DC animated film Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths, Part One. This is part of a three-part adaptation of the classic “Crisis on Infinite Earths” comic book storyline from DC.

Daddario joins a large ensemble cast that includes many big names, such as Darren Criss, Stana Katic, Jensen Ackles, Matt Bomer, and Zachary Quinto, among others. She voices explicitly the iconic character of Lois Lane, known commonly as the love interest of Superman.

As this is only the first part of a three-part animated film series, details on Daddario’s specific role are likely still limited.

But as Lois Lane, she will likely play an important supporting character and help set up the more significant “Crisis” storyline, which features alternate universes colliding and the possible destruction of all reality in the DC multiverse.

Overall, this continues Daddario’s voice acting work in the DC universe, adds another impressive credit to her filmography, and places her as part of a big crossover animation event for DC Comics.

The details of her Lois Lane character and performance will likely come more into focus as marketing ramps up for the film’s digital and Blu-ray release in early 2024.

But this is a great opportunity and project for her in her busy acting career across TV and movies.
