While Barker’s earnings from TV shows remain unknown, as his entire family was featured on the reality show Meet the Barkers, his early exposure to the spotlight undoubtedly contributed to his success.

The show, which aired for two seasons and a total of 16 episodes, was a platform that allowed him, along with his family members, to become famous as a reality TV star.

Barker’s father, Travis, is an American drummer, musician, and reality television personality who boasts a multi-million dollar net worth of $50 million.

His immense success can be primarily attributed to his role as the drummer for the hugely popular punk rock band Blink-182, whose 1999 album “Enema of the State” sold over 15 million copies worldwide.

He has appeared on the MTV reality series Meet the Barkers, released a memoir, and founded a successful clothing company called Famous Stars & Straps and his own record label, LaSalle Records.

His talent and versatility have earned him collaborations with numerous influential artists and bands outside of Blink-182, including The Aquabats, The Transplants, +44, TRV$D JAM, Machine Gun Kelly, and Yelawolf.

Beyond his music career, Barker has also ventured into business ventures, including launching a cannabinoid-infused product called Barker Wellness in February 2021.

His diverse income streams, immense talent, and mainstream popularity have contributed to his estimated $50 million net worth, cementing his status as a multi-millionaire in the entertainment industry.

Landon Barker’s music career

In addition to his social media presence, Barker has also ventured into the world of music, following in his father’s footsteps, which could become a significant source of income for him in the future.

In September 2023, Barker kicked off his music career with the release of his debut single ‘Friends With Your Ex.’ In an interview with Billboard News, he shared insights into the song’s meaning, writing process, and the advice he received from his rockstar father.

The 19-year-old singer signed with his dad’s DTA Records imprint on Elektra, fulfilling a lifelong dream of performing on stage and moving people with his music. He cites watching his father, Travis, act with Blink-182 as a significant inspiration from a young age.

‘Friends With Your Ex’ chronicles a “messed up little love story,” according to Barker, with lyrics like “I was friends with your ex/ You were with him when we met/ Guess he hasn’t found out yet/ But I know he’s gonna kill me when he sees me with you.”

His girlfriend at the time, TikTok star D’Amelio, stars in the music video. The song’s catchy pop-punk sound features Travis on drums and production.

Barker says he frequently seeks advice from his dad, appreciating his authenticity and transparency in feedback. He aims to write lyrics grounded in real life, pivoting from songs focused solely on heartbreak.

With over 2 million streams on Spotify, his debut is off to a great start. He teases “so much” more music is in store as he continues releasing original tracks. The budding young artist is following in his famous father’s footsteps.

Landon Barker has also done a fashion collab

In June 2022, Barker co-designed a capsule collection with boohooMAN that represents his evolving personal style. This follows a clothing line launched by his sister, Alabama Barker, in May 2022.

The collaboration features 40 pieces with rockstar-inspired looks like oversized jackets, frayed trim accents, and skull motifs. With prices ranging from $19 to $67, the versatile collection allows customers to style the pieces uniquely.

As the 18-year-old (at the time of collab) son of a legendary drummer, Barker requested complete creative direction over the designs. He curated a mood board to convey his pop-punk and grungy vision to the boohooMAN team.

Barker aimed to create a unisex collection that could appeal to fans of rock, emo, rap, and beyond. Signature pieces include leather jackets, chains attached to jeans, and a bandana-tied pant detail.

He notes the clothes work for men and women, highlighting androgynous styles like oversized jackets and a sheer pink shirt, symbolic of his aim for versatility.

The rising star sees fashion as the latest avenue for creative self-expression. Channeling his musical roots, he insisted on making the line authentically resemble his artistic identity.

This capsule marks his first major fashion design collaboration. As a multi-hyphenate Gen Z celeb, he’s already garnered fame through social media, reality TV appearances, and his fledgling music career. Now, he can add fashion designers to his expanding resume.
